Advantages of the technology are endless. Complexity has neither limits nor costs. Why not merging more components in one? SPEM will support you in looking for these opportunities, to get complex groups made only in one piece, while reducing machining and assembling times of many components, improving quality and reliability Meanwhile nothing is better than having in you hands the part that has so far existed only behind your monitor. To achieve this we 3D print immediately all the components in plastic while they are in the design phase. We want to immediately feedback designers and engineers providing a real component in their hands.

Layer by layer, we realize your idea starting from a 3D model. The AM raw product could be compared to an investment casting but with no need of molds!
Complex shapes have no constrains. Solids can be lighted thanks to trabecular and lattice structures and thin walls (down to 0,3mm). Material and physical proprieties are better than conventional casting. Thanks to our cooperation with Politecnico of Turin and the test campaign we can optimize those proprieties and give evidence of their performances.

SPEM mission is to maximize the advantages of Additive manufacturing integrating high precision machining know how since into the concept phase of additive design. The raw shape, even if only slightly oversized and with stricter tolerances do need a machining operation to reach high precision and low surface roughness. If the product has been optimized only thinking about Additive manufacturing process, it can result impossible to clamp and machine it with a CNC machine. In most cases machining is possible but through expensive operation, that make additive manufacturing optimizations useless. SPEM instead considers the final stage of machining, starting from the concept phase. This allows SPEM to optimize not only the Additive stage but the whole ADDITIVE+MACHINING+COATING+ASSEMBLY process.

A turnkey product with alternative surface finishing, either functional or simply aesthetic, to meet all requirements.
